Hi Leslie,
Happy New Year to you and yours! We took Hemi hunting at Woods and Meadow
yesterday. The weather was cold and quite windy. The crusty snow was also
difficult to maneuver in. Hemi managed to get 5 birds up for us even in
those conditions. Well, I should say 4 birds as one was hunkered down under
the snow in the sorghum so Hemi held it down with her feet. We brought it
back alive to join our other birds. She also found one rooster from the
morning hunt that someones dog apparently couldn't locate.

Hi Leslie,
Hemi is a tremendous pheasant hunter. I
swear she can pick a scent a hundred yards out! We do our hunting at
Woods and Meadow Hunting Preserve located between Warrens and Millston.
We have hunted her eight times and she has flushed 48 birds. That is
15 more than we booked for. We have yet to lose a bird that we shot
and she is getting pretty good with her retrieves. You should see her
run down the wing shot bird! When we get near the hunting area she
starts to cry and shake. She is so birdy. Afterwards she sleeps
all the way home. Hemi currently weights 62 pounds! Thanks for
allowing us to own shuch a special dog!!!!

Hi Leslie,
Quick note to share with you a picture of Cody (aka Harley from the January
2009 litter).
As a quick
reminder, you met myself and my two boys in
Oshkosh.
Cody is a smart, playful Golden that is as gentle and loyal as the day is
long.
He loves activity and
romping in the woods.
A perfect
fit for our family.
Thought you would enjoy seeing how he has grown!

Hello Leslie,
We bought the puppy you called "Dora" last April.
We named her Zoey. She is full of energy, loves to run when she's
outside, but loves to cuddle! I've attached a couple of pictures for
you to see what she looks like now. She's about 44 pounds.
