Sam
is a beautiful dog with the classic good looks of of Goldens of old.
He has a soft mouth, a strong hunt drive, and a nose that can find a
bird anywhere. In addition to being an excellent hunting
partner he is a calm, affectionate, and easy going house dog.
He is the first choice as babysitter of little puppies as he is very
gentle and tolerant of their play.

Sam
comes from working parents and his pedigree boast 2 Field Champions,
3 Master Hunters, and 2 Junior Hunters titles. Sam has earned
his AKC Junior Hunter title, his HRC Started Dog title, and his
Canine Good Citizen Certificate. Several years ago he had a
Therapy Dog Certificate and he often went to work with Dan at a St
Paul High School.
Sam is the go to dog
for hunting. His experience and his Golden Nose makes him a
delight to hunt behind. Sam's only fault in the field is the
look you will get if you miss the bird. I believe he is say
"go wait in the truck and I will find it myself!"

sport of Hunt Tests. Little did we know when we brought home this little
ball of fluff that he would become such an important part of our lives.
Rippling Run Red Headed Stranger
(Willie)
Willie comes to us from Rippling Run
and has a pedigree full of outstanding dogs. For now, he is delighted
to be a puppy, torment the other dogs, chew, try to chase the cats, chew,
eat and sleep. Life is fun for Willie and it will be a while before he
begins his formal training.
Willie is a thoughtful boy.. He watches the other
dogs train and seems to be thinking "Oh, so that is how it is done". Once he
learns something he remembers it.
He will be a big boy as an adult but he is
graceful and lacks the puppy clumsiness that many pups seem to have
for so long.
