Maple Hills Guns N Roses JH
WCX
(Rose)
Rose
is our pick of the litter from our 2009 Sam/Mae litter. We had
planned on giving her to our to our son who was serving in the
Marines. We started to house train her and it turned out we
needed to pick out a different pup for him. Rose just walked
into our hearts and decided to stay. Her spunk, her quick
response, and her drive to retrieve made us believe she would be
better suited as a field dog than as a house pet and hunting
partner.
Rose absolutely loves to work and train. She
circles the truck in the hopes of getting into her box so she can go
out in the field.
Rose has her
Junior Hunter title and her WCX. In addition she has Three legs of her Senior Hunter Title.
Rose should finish her SH title in the Fall of 2010.

Maplehills Eye on the Prize
(Iris)
Iris
is a delightful little girl, full of spunk and drive. Like
Rose, we held her back when all the other puppies in her litter had
gone to their new homes. She had a slight heart murmur that we
wanted to see if it would clear up on its own. By 10 weeks old
the heart murmur was gone (typical of puppy heart murmurs) but that
temporary stay looks like a more permanent placement. She has
enormous desire to retrieve and an incredibly quick ability to learn
new things. Her pedigree is outstanding and we are excited to
see her in the field.
