A special Thank you Mike Kuehn for introducing us to the awesome
sport of Hunt Tests. Little did we know when we brought home this little
ball of fluff that he would become such an important part of our lives.

Topbrass Diamonds Rubies and Pearls
(Ruby)
Ruby
joined us in the summer of 2008 from Topbrass kennel. She has
an impressive pedigree and is just starting her training. All
is fun for Ruby as she delights in picking up and retrieving
anything that is not nailed down. She is exceptionally calm
and easy going in the house but is all retriever when we start go
outside for training. She has recently lost her her baby
"fluff" and has an exceptional dark golden coat. She is on the
smaller side and can burn up the field for hours.
Look for Ruby at dog games in the spring and
summer of 2010. Health clearances will be posted in June 2010.

Maple Hills Guns N Roses
(Rose)
Rose
is our pick of the litter from our 2009 Sam/Mae litter. We had
not intended to keep her as we had planned on giving her to our to
our son and daughter in law. We started to house train her for
them and it turned out we needed to pick out a different pup for
them. Rose just walked into our hearts and decided to stay.
Her spunk, her quick response, and her drive to retrieve made us
believe she would be better suited as a field dog than as a house
pet. Rose has 2 passes at her Junior Hunt title and she got
those at only 9 months old. Look for more of Rose in the Field
Games in 2010.
